Kemp Little hires Penningtons Manches partner

Technology law firm Kemp Little has hired a former Penningtons Manches partner into the firm’s IP practice.

Rachael Barber has joined as a partner.

She specialises in design, trademark and copyright litigation, IP protection and enforcement. Barber focuses her practice on the retail industry.

“I am thrilled to have joined a firm with such a deep understanding of technology and IP, and how it intertwines with the retail market and the core of the luxury and fashion industries,” said Barber.

Paul Garland, head of IP and technology disputes at the firm, said: “Her particular strength in the retail sector will reinforce our ability as a firm to deliver seamless solutions to our many retail and e-commerce clients across IP and commercial technology.”
