Ice Miller welcomes counsel in Indiana

US law firm Ice Miller has expanded its intellectual property and data security and privacy practices in Indianapolis by hiring Blaine Dirker as of counsel.

Dirker joins from law firm Barnes & Thornburg, where he worked as an associate attorney.

He has experience in patent drafting and prosecution for his clients in the cloud computing, wireless communication protocols and software-defined networking industries.

Before becoming an attorney, Dirker worked as a software engineer for seven years.
