Ice Miller opens Philadelphia practice
Ice Miller has boosted its IP practice with the opening of an office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Frederick Tecce, who has joined the firm as managing partner of the office, will lead the IP practice in Philadelphia.
He is joined by partner Aaron Ettelman and of counsel Bryon Wasserman.
Tecce has experience in representing clients in cases involving trade secrets, patents and other IP matters, and is a former assistant US attorney in the criminal division.
He joins from Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel where he was a partner for over five years.
Ettelman’s practice focuses on all aspects of IP rights, particularly those involving chemical and biochemical matters, while Wasserman is an IP attorney experienced in litigating patent actions before district courts.
Steve Humke, chief managing partner of Ice Miller, said: “Our goal is to strengthen our IP practice in its own right and as a complement to our robust corporate practice as well as our data security and privacy practice and our internet of things industry group.”
