Gibson attorney joins Banner as of counsel
Blair Silver has joined Banner & Witcoff as of counsel, after spending nearly five years as an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
Silver, who joins the firm’s Washington, DC office, has more than a decade of experience in managing complex IP disputes, having advised a range of Fortune 500 companies and technology start-ups.
Silver’s industry expertise includes electronics, computers, financial technology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products.
He has represented clients in appellant matters at the US Supreme Court, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the US International Trade Commission. He has also handled inter partes reviews and covered business method review proceedings at the US Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
In addition to his patent work, Silver assists clients with high-profile copyright and trademark infringement litigation.
Silver also previously worked at Kirkland & Ellis and served as a law clerk at the Federal Circuit.
