IP firm D Young & Co LLP has announced the appointment of Richard Willoughby who is set to join the dispute resolution & legal group.
Willoughby (pictured below), of Rouse, is a patent litigator with extensive knowledge of multi-jurisdictional litigation in the US, Europe and Asia. He has worked with clients in a wide range of technological fields including life sciences, chemicals and mechanical engineering
Ian Starr, head of dispute resolution & legal group said: “Richard’s arrival will enable the firm to offer first class patent litigation and advisory services to our growing client base in life sciences, electronics and mechanical practices not just in the UK, but internationally as well. We are delighted to have him on board.”
D Young & Co's team has won client mandates from Procter & Gamble, Avis Budget, Beats Electronics, Marriott International and Turner Broadcasting and represents more than 25 percent of the top 50 global brands as ranked by the BrandZ study, the firm says.
Willoughby will join the firm in September 2013.
