Boies Schiller Flexner promotes three IP lawyers

Boies Schiller Flexner has promoted three IP lawyers in Los Angeles and New York.

In Los Angeles, the firm added Julia Bredrup to the partnership. Bredrup’s practice covers a broad range of civil and criminal matters, including entertainment, healthcare, malpractice, and securities violations.

Her IP work centres on copyright and trademark infringement matters for media and entertainment companies.

The firm has also promoted Ben Margulis, who is based in the firm’s New York office, to partner. He specialises in copyright matters relating to freedom of expression and fair use.

Since joining the firm in 2013, he has assisted clients from a variety of industries with copyright, trademark, unfair competition, and defamation matters. He also advises on federal securities and trade laws and common law fraud.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles-based Noah Pérez-Silverman has been appointed as counsel.

Pérez-Silverman has represented plaintiffs and defendants in matters related to IP, entertainment, and employment. He has litigated in both federal and state courts, as well as handling complex regulatory issues.
