Alston & Bird boosts IP practice in New York
US-based law firm Alston & Bird has hired Paul Tanck as a partner in the firm’s IP litigation group in its New York office.
He joins from Chadbourne & Parke, where he served as chair of the IP group.
Tanck focuses his practice on technology patents and has litigated numerous patents at trial and on appeal to the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
“We are fortunate to add an attorney of Paul’s caliber and leadership,” said Keith Broyles, co-leader of Alston & Bird’s IP team.
“Paul’s incredible track record handling commercially critical and legally complex patent litigations for industry leaders, combined with the big-picture view he brings to IP strategy, will prove compelling to many of our clients.”
