ECTA’s 38th Annual Conference in the stately charm and elegance of Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh offers the ideal setting to meet friends and colleagues and to take part in an informed debate on ‘New Horizons through the Highland Haze’. The workshops on 26th June 2019 will focus on the Internet and information technology from the perspective of Intellectual Property rights. On 27th and 28th June, nine conference sessions will be dedicated to the latest developments in the fields of trade marks, designs, copyright, geographical indications and EU case law, as well as to the impact of Brexit on Intellectual Property rights. The evening programmes will complement the working panels with social events taking place at the Dynamic Earth, at Hopetoun House and at the National Museum of Scotland. The excursions on Saturday, 29th June, will provide an insight to Scotland’s fascinating history and scenic beauty.
