Conference preview: The Licensing Executives Society Annual Meeting

Today, IP makes up 80% of the equity value of most publicly-traded companies. With that percentage, it follows that managing IP properly is increasingly important to the success of a company.

The Licensing Executives Society (US and Canada, LES), a professional society engaged in IP creation, commercial development, protection, management, and standards development, is bringing together key industry leaders and decision-makers for insight and conversations about innovation, the evolving licensing field and the future of IP management for its Annual Meeting on October 20 to 23 in Phoenix, Arizona.

The LES Annual Meeting is expected to convene hundreds of executives and will feature a speaker roster of notable business leaders and members of the licensing and intellectual capital management communities.

This year’s Annual Meeting features nearly 70 sessions with more than 100 expert speakers, including keynote speakers Assistant Attorney General of the Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice Makan Delrahim; Google vice president and “chief internet evangelist” Vinton Cerf; and Microsoft managing director for startups Shaloo Garg.
