Winston & Strawn LLP has expanded its patent team with the addition of three new partners.
Korula Cherian, Scott Wales and Constance Ramos, who join from Hogan Lovells, will join the San Francisco office.
Cherian was the former co-head of the US IP practice at Hogan Lovells and all three focus their practice on patent litigation and licensing.
The trio have experience of patent litigation for a range of technologies, including semiconductor processing and design, telecommunications, medical devices and food processing technologies.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, the three were all partners at Howrey LLP.
The group will be based in San Francisco but will also spend time in Winston & Strawn’s Silicon Valley office.
Joan Fife, managing partner of the San Francisco office, said the arrival of the group would enable the firm to better serve clients around the globe.
Winston & Strawn LLP is an international law firm with 18 offices throughout the US, Asia, and Europe.
