White & Case hires partner in Boston

Law firm White & Case has hired Christopher Carroll as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property practice in Boston.

Caroll joins from law firm Ropes & Gray.

He has experience in patents, trademarks and copyright.

His clients include companies in the electrical, software and communications engineering industries.

Dimitrios Drivas, head of the firm’s global IP practice, said: “Chris has helped his clients navigate the changing landscape in US and European patent law.

“We see continuing opportunities for him to guide our clients in coordinating and advancing their US and European patent strategies in order to succeed in both jurisdictions,” he added.
