Walker Morris appoints new partner to head its IP group

UK law firm Walker Morris has appointed Rupert Bent as head of IP.

Bent joins as partner of the firm after previously being head of IP litigation at Pinsent Masons.

He is experienced in all aspects of IP, having represented companies in patent, trademark and copyright disputes.

Notable clients he has represented include mobile phone retailer Phones 4u and kitchen retailer Magnet.

Bent said: “I’m very excited to be joining Walker Morris and leading the IP group to the next stage of its development.”
