US IP government chief steps down

The US government’s IP enforcement coordinator (IPEC) Victoria Espinel has stepped down after four years in the role.

Appointed in 2009, Espinel was the first person to assume the post after its creation by the Prioritizing Resources and Organization for Intellectual Property Act of 2008.
