Ulmer & Berne LLP has added IP lawyer Scott Rogers to its office in Chicago.
Rogers, who has experience representing companies in trademark and copyright disputes, both domestically and internationally, joins from law firm Scandaglia & Ryan.
He also served as vice president and general counsel for children’s toy manufacturer Ty Inc, where he was responsible for protecting the IP portfolio for many of the company’s products.
Arriving alongside Rogers are Jeffrey Blumberg and Stephen Gardner, who join the firm’s financial services team.
Randall Lehner, partner-in-charge of Ulmer & Berne’s Chicago office, said: “The additions of Jeff, Scott and Stephen are part of our ongoing efforts to provide our clients with the best service to meet their needs, and financial services and IP are two areas in which we continue to see our clients’ needs expanding, both nationally and here in Chicago.”
