For the Seventh Circuit, Amy Coney Barrett has been nominated. She currently serves as a professor at Notre Dame Law School.

David R Stras and Kevin C Newsom have been nominated to the  Eighth and Eleventh Circuits respectively.

Stras has served on the Minnesota Supreme Court since 2010, while Newsom has previous experience as the solicitor general of Alabama.

Also nominated for district judge positions were David Nye (Idaho), Scott Palk (Oklahoma), Damien Schniff (California), Dabney Friedrich (Washington)  and Terry Moorer (Alabama).

The announcements follow the successful nomination and confirmation of Justice Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.
