Sutherland Asbill and Brennan LLP has appointed three new partners to its IP litigation practice. Alan Albright, Robert Ball and Michael Steinig will join the Austin, Atlanta, and Washington, DC offices respectively.
Albright joins from Bracewell and Giuliani. He has experience in counselling clients in the digital sector on patent litigation.
Ball arrives from Akamai Technology, where he was a member of the executive team. He advises entrepreneurs in the digital sector on a range of issues including capital formation and growth incentive investments.
Steining focuses his practice in the digital sector, advising clients on software licensing and internet-related service agreements. He joins from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.
