Stinson Leonard Street adds another partner
Stinson Leonard Street LLP has boosted its IP department with the appointment of new partner and patent specialist Brian Gill.
Gill, who will join the firm’s St Louis office, has experience seeking patents for devices including semiconductors, medical devices, wind turbines and oil and gas systems.
In addition to transactional experience, Gill also represents clients in enforcement matters and has defended in patent, trademark and trade secret infringement claims.
John Moticka, managing partner of the firm's St. Louis office, said the addition of Gill allowed the firm to offer “greater IP experience” to meet the needs of clients.
"His background is particularly relevant to clients we represent in the energy, manufacturing, consumer product and technology industries," Moticka added.
Gill is the third partner to join the firm's St. Louis office since the turn of the year when Stinson Morrison Hecker and Leonard Street & Deinard LLP merged to create Stinson Leonard Street LLP.
Johnny Wang and Markus Cicka joined the office in March and May respectively.
The combined firm now has offices in 14 cities and more than 520 attorneys.
