Steptoe & Johnson adds patent litigation team

Steptoe & Johnson LLP has recruited three patent litigators for its IP litigation practice in Chicago.

Meredith Martin Addy, Thomas Filarski and Mark Remus join the firm as partners. Addy will also serve as the managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office.

Addy’s clients include companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, software and high-tech industries.

Filarski has represented companies in the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, chemical, electro-chemical and mechanical industries during trial cases, and Remus has represented clients in litigation matters involving technologies in the pharmaceutical, electrical, chemical and mechanical arts.
