Squire Patton Boggs completes merger

Law firm Squire Patton Boggs has merged with Carroll, Burdick & McDonough.

The combined firm will now have 1,500 lawyers and 45 offices in 21 countries in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas, and the Middle East.

The firm’s practice will focus on brand protection and complex litigation.

Mark Ruehlmann, global chairman of Squire Patton Boggs, said: “From the outset of our discussions, it was clear that our firms shared common values and a complementary mix of practices that would mutually benefit each other.”
