SNR Denton snags former Howrey partner

SNR Denton announced in February that Robert F. Kramer has joined the firm as a partner in its IP and technology practice.

Kramer is a former Howrey LLP patent litigation partner and will be based in SNR Denton’s Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices.

Kramer serves as lead counsel representing technology companies in patent infringement cases in district courts throughout the US, as well as before the ITC.

“Rob has a long and successful track record representing technology companies in patent cases involving electronics, networking and data transmission systems, light emitting diodes (LEDs), telecommunications, semiconductors and other technologies,” said Rob Hanson, head of SNR Denton’s IP and technology practice.

“He brings with him an extensive network of relationships that will continue to grow the firm’s IP team.”

Kramer lived in Tokyo, Japan, for several years and was registered to practise law in Japan as well as a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association while representing Asian companies in patent infringement cases in the US district courts and ITC.

“The firm’s global presence, along with its desire to grow an IP practice which is responsive to today’s market, represented a true opportunity for me and my clients,” said Kramer.

Other partners who have recently joined SNR Denton’s growing IP practice include Martin Bruehs, Charles Bruton and Scott Cummings.
