Sheppard Mullin adds partner in Palo Alto
Law firm Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has hired Weiguo (Will) Chen as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property group in Palo Alto.
Chen joins from law firm Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner.
He has experience in patent litigation, infringement and validity analyses, and has represented clients in the software and semiconductor devices industries.
Daniel Yannuzzi, co-chair of the firm’s IP practice group, said: “Will joins Sheppard Mullin as part of our ongoing strategic goal to expand our intellectual property practice in Silicon Valley and firmwide. In particular, his skills are synergistic with our capabilities in China and he will further bolster our formidable IP presence in Silicon Valley.”
