Seyfarth Shaw brings Fanelli Haag on board

Law firm Seyfarth Shaw has brought IP boutique firm Fanelli Haag, including co-founders Dean Fanelli and Thomas Haag, into its litigation department.

Haag and Fanelli are now partners at Seyfarth Shaw.

Fanelli’s experience includes creating and managing patent portfolios, due diligence and invalidity options.

Haag’s practice focuses on licensing and transactional matters, patent prosecution and opinion work. He has represented clients in the biotechnology industry.

Also joining the firm are King Wong, Maria Maebius, Parithosh Tungaturthi, and Alex Li.

The lawyers are based in Seyfarth Shaw’s Washington, DC office.

Robert Bodansky, managing partner of the office, said: “As we continue to expand our Washington, DC office, Dean and Thomas’s team provides an important and sizeable presence for our clients with IP needs, in particular those that require boots on the ground here or before the US Patent and Trademark Office.”
