IP law firm Rouse has expanded its Moscow office by launching a trademark and patent portfolio management service.
It has recruited Mikhail Pasynok and Andrey Cherskasov to head it.
Pasynok joins from the pharmaceutical company Farmasynthez. He has experience advising on a myriad of patent-related issues, both as in-house counsel and as a patent examiner at Rospatent, the Russian Patent and Trademark Office.
Cherskasov will be responsible for leading the trademark services of the Moscow office. He has 13 years’ experience advising companies on trademark-related issues both as an in-house counsel and in private practice.
Stuart Adams, Rouse Russia country manager, said: “Andrey and Mikhail are both attorneys of impressive calibre and deep expertise. Their experience in portfolio management arrives at the perfect time for Rouse in Russia.
“Our enforcement and litigation practice has proven extremely popular since we launched 18 months ago, and their arrivals will enable us to offer a fully integrated IP service,” he said.
