Ropes & Gray has added partner Paul Rubin to the firm’s Life Sciences group in Washington, DC.
Rubin represents clients regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Consumer Product Safety Commission (CSPC) and other regulatory agencies. He also conducts due diligence on corporate transactions and private equity investments. Before joining Ropes & Gray, Rubin was co-chair of the FDA Practice Group and head of the Transactional Risk Assessment Practice Group at Patton Boggs.
“Ropes & Gray provides a unique opportunity to combine my practice with one of the leading life sciences groups in the country,” said Rubin. “The firm’s global reputation for providing full service support spanning FDA, antitrust, litigation, IP counselling, health law, advertising and social media, and government investigations—combined with its elite private equity practice—makes the Ropes & Gray platform incredibly appealing.”
