Ropes & Gray boosts IP team with new appointment
Evan Gourvitz, former senior counsel for litigation at alcoholic drinks company Diageo North America, has joined Ropes & Gray LLP’s IP litigation team as counsel.
He will join the New York office of the firm.
He has previously practiced IP law at Fross Zelnick Lehrman & Zissu, representing clients from the restaurant, entertainment and fashion industries. His focus is on the trademark and copyright aspects of IP law.

His copyright and trademark litigation experience both in the federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the US Patent & Trademark Officewill be extremely valuable to clients,” said Peter Brody, IP litigation partner at Ropes & Gray LLP.
