McAndrews, Held & Malloy has completed an internal reshuffle, resulting in nine attorneys taking more senior roles within the firm.
John Abramic, David Petty, Sara Bartos, Hopeton Walker and Michael Fitzpatrick have all moved up to the board of directors. The attorneys have experience in all areas of intellectual property litigation, including patent, copyright and trademark. They have worked across a span of technologies, including wired and wireless communications systems, pharmaceuticals, electronic dart games, lighting controls and surgical gowns.
James Davis, Sarah Kofflin, Michael Krautner and Patrick Bradley have been promoted to partner. A mix of patent prosecutors and litigators, their diverse prosecution and litigation experience has concerned medical, mechanical and electrical technologies, as well as trademarks, unfair competition suits and secret trade deals.
John Held, a founding partner at McAndrews, said: “These outstanding professionals have earned the opportunity to take on new leadership roles.”
