Law firm Reed Smith has added to its intellectual property practice by hiring Anette Gärtner as a partner.
Gärtner, who joins from law firm Clifford Chance, will focus her practice on patent law with an emphasis on cross-border infringement and nullification proceedings.
She joins Reed Smith in Frankfurt, the firm's newest office, which now has one counsel and eight partners.
Alexander Klett, partner at the firm's Munich office, said: “Anette’s arrival not only builds our coverage across Germany, but will also ensure we are in an even stronger position to support clients across our European platform.”
