Privacy lawyer Peter McLaughlin has joined DLA Piper’s Boston office as of counsel in the firm’s IP and technology practice.
McLaughlin (pictured left), who joins DLA Piper from Morrison & Foerster LLP, advises clients on how to handle personal information.
He specialises in international data transfers, new technologies, and the privacy and security of health data.
While serving as assistant general counsel of privacy and security and global privacy director of a Fortune 20 healthcare company, McLaughlin developed a global privacy and data protection programme.
