Polsinelli expands Denver office

Law firm Polsinelli has expanded the IP practice at its Denver office with the addition of patent attorney Alyssa Sandrowitz.

Her focus is on patent-related matters in the semiconductor, consumer electronics and medical devices industries, and she has experience of prosecuting and litigating patents.

She is also a specialist in design patents and has prosecuted them as counsel for a number of companies in the US.

She follows Timothy Worrall and Milan Vinnola to the firm, both of whom were appointed in February.

The continued expansion of the firm follows the opening of the Denver office of the US Patent and Trademark Office in June.

Sandrowitz said: “I’m really excited to be part of a firm that is business-minded and committed to understanding its clients’ business needs.”

Greg Durbin, vice chair of the IP practice, said: “We are pleased to add Alyssa to our expanding team of patent and IP attorneys in Denver.

“With her experience in both patent litigation and prosecution and especially post-grant proceedings, Alyssa is in a unique position to counsel clients. She brings a proven track-record for both patent owners and petitioners,” he added.

Established in 1972 in Kansas City, the firm employs 740 attorneys across 19 offices in the US.
