Osborne Clarke hires Brazell from Bird & Bird

Law firm Osborne Clarke has hired IP litigation expert Lorna Brazell as partner in its London office.

Brazell joins from Bird & Bird, where she has been a partner since 2001. A geophysics graduate, she specialises in patent disputes, particularly in the digital technology and life sciences sectors.

Peter Clough, head of litigation at Osborne Clarke, said: “Lorna’s arrival adds yet more weight to our international disputes practice and significantly enhances our IP and patent litigation capabilities. Her experience and expertise will be of great value to the high tech and IP-rich businesses that we work with and will benefit both existing and new clients of the firm."

Brazell is Osborne Clarke’s seventh London partner hire this year.  The firm has more than 550 lawyers across 13 offices in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and the US.
