Orrick hires IP partner in Beijing

Law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe has hired Ya-Chiao Chang as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property practice in Beijing.

Chang, who joins from law firm Kirkland & Ellis, specialises in patent litigation.

He has represented clients in the technology industries including wireless communications and digital television.

Mark Wine, co-chair of Orrick’s patent practice, said: “We are thrilled to add to our bench a lawyer with Chang’s credentials.”
