O’Melveny appoints IP counsellor

O’Melveny & Myers has appointed Scott Pink as an IP counsellor in the firm’s Silicon Valley office.

He joins from DLA Piper, where he led the Sacramento, California IP practice and served as chair of the the advertising and marketing law subgroup for over 15 years.

Pink specialises in IP counselling, social media law, and advertising, marketing, and promotions law.

Warren Lazarow, co-chair of O’Melveny’s transactions department, said:“Scott’s deep experience, both as outside counsel for a wide variety of companies and a former general counsel for a large media organisation, is a great fit for O’Melveny’s collaborative, cross-practice approach.”

Pink will work with the firm’s entertainment, sports and media, technology transactions, emerging growth and and IP and technology practices.
