Nixon Peabody agrees merger

Law firm Nixon Peabody has agreed to merge with Hong Kong-based solicitors’ firm CWL Partners.

The firm will be known as Nixon Peabody CWL in Hong Kong but will still be known as Nixon Peabody in the US, Europe and China.

Nixon Peabody CWL remains legally independent from Nixon Peabody, but is part of the firm’s brand platform.

The merger became effective on October 1.

Kenneth Wong, managing partner of Nixon Peabody CWL, said: “This combination gives us a true global footprint and enables us to better provide resources for our clients.”
