Munck Wilson Mandala adds senior counsel in Texas

US-based law firm Munck Wilson Mandala has hired James Murphy III as a senior counsel in the firm’s litigation section in Dallas, Texas.

Murphy joins from Thompson & Knight.

His practice focuses on prosecuting patent applications and he has worked as a lead attorney in ex parte and inter partes re-examination proceedings for his clients at international patent offices.

He is licensed to practise before the US Patent and Trademark Office and the US District Court for Northern District Court of Texas.
