Morgan Lewis adds IP litigation partner in Shanghai
Morgan Lewis has appointed Shaobin Zhu as a partner in the firm’s Shanghai office.
Zhu focuses his practice on cross-border IP litigation and counselling, and has represented clients in patent cases in the US federal courts and at the US International Trade Commission.
He also advises clients on technology patent prosecution and worked as a software engineer for six years.
“Shaobin’s presence in Shanghai helps us continue and build upon our strong relationships with companies in China involved in litigation in US courts or who require counselling on administrative or regulatory matters,” said Morgan Lewis chair Jami McKeon.
Morgan Lewis recently expanded into China by adding 13 partners in Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai.
McKeon added that the appointment “marks another significant step in solidifying our deep commitment to clients in Asia and builds on our recent expansion in China.”
