Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp and Richardson Patel announce merger

US law firms Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp (MS&K) and Richardson Patel have announced that they will merge on July 1.

MS&K, a full service law firm, has an intellectual property practice, which concentrates on copyright, patent, trademark and anti-piracy disputes.

Richardson Patel, which is a boutique law firm, largely concentrates on corporate finance, private equity and securities.

The merged firm will retain the full MSK name and will include offices in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.

Kevin Gaut, chairman of the new firm, said: “We’re very proud to be joining forces with the talented and entrepreneurial team at Richardson Patel.”
