Michael Best & Friedrich welcomes partner in Austin

Law firm Michael Best & Friedrich has hired Kirk Dorius as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property practice group in Austin, Texas.

Dorius joins from US-based law firm Reed & Scardino, and has experience in patent prosecution, licensing and litigation.

He has represented clients in the mechanical manufacturing and automotive industries.

Although he is primarily based in Austin he will also spend time in the firm’s Salt Lake City office.
