McDermott Will & Emery elects seven to partner
Law firm McDermott Will & Emery has promoted seven lawyers to partner in the firm’s intellectual property practice.
Natalie Bennett, Barrington Dyer, Nitin Gambhir, Artem Sokolov, Nathan Smith, Brad Wilson, and Steffen Woitz will become partners on January 1.
Bennett and Sokolov work in the firm’s Washington, DC office, while Dyer and Gambhir work in Silicon Valley. Smith, Wilson and Woitz work in the firm’s Orange County, Chicago and Munich offices respectively.
Bennett and Dyer both specialise in patent infringement cases and Gambhir has experience in both copyright and trademark litigation.
Smith focuses on licensing and due diligence.
Wilson, another patent specialist, represents clients in the software industries and Woitz has experience in antitrust and litigation.
The move comes as part of 30 promotions across the firm.
