Mayer Brown adds partner in Palo Alto

Law firm Mayer Brown has hired David Wang as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property practice in Palo Alto.

Wang joins from law firm Winston & Strawn, where he was also a partner.

He has experience in trade secrets, patent licensing and infringement negotiations, and has represented clients in the electronics, software, and laser industries.

Edward Johnson, partner-in-charge of the firm’s Palo Alto office, said: “We welcome David’s arrival, which continues our growth here in Palo Alto.”
