Manatt recruits three partners from Dickstein Shapiro
Law firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips has appointed three partners to its offices in Los Angeles and Orange County.
Robert Dickerson, Lawrence LaPorte and Yasser El-Gamal all join from Dickstein Shapiro.
Dickerson focuses on patent, trademark and copyright matters, including assisting clients with patent litigation and prosecution. He will join the Los Angeles office.
Representing companies in the software, automotive and aviation industries, LaPorte, who focuses on patent and trademark-related IP matters, also joins the Los Angeles office.
In addition, El-Gamal, a former patent examiner at the US Patent and Trademark Office, joins the Orange County office. He specialises in IP litigation and prosecution.
