Licks Attorneys welcomes patent specialist

Brazilian law firm Licks Attorneys has hired Antonio Morschbacker as a patent specialist in the firm’s patent group in Rio de Janeiro.

Morschbacker joins from Morschbacker Consulting, a firm he founded and worked at as a partner. He has also worked at petrochemical company Braskem as renewable technologies director.

He has experience as an inventor and co-inventor of 22 patent applications for technologies such as high performance polymers and bio-based monomers.

Otto Licks, a founding partner at the firm, said: “Morschbacker’s experience will strengthen the office’s steady growth, while expanding into areas of practice closely associated with our core capabilities.”
