Kramer Levin names IP co-chairs
Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel has named Paul Andre and Jonathan Caplan as co-chairs of the firm’s IP practice.
New York-based partner Peter Abruzzese will step down as department chair after more than five years of service.
Andre has served as managing partner of the firm’s Silicon Valley office since joining the firm in 2011. He will retain this role.
He focuses his practice on litigating IP disputes involving technology, and has experience in the life sciences, computer science and electrical arts fields.
Caplan has served as deputy chair of the IP department in New York, also since 2011.
He represents clients in patent litigation, counselling and prosecution, as well as in antitrust litigation and general corporate matters.
Paul Pearlman, managing partner of Kramer Levin, said: “Paul and Jonathan’s leadership has been instrumental to our success protecting our clients’ IP and advising on their most important IP issues.”
