Jones Day elects six in IP

Law firm Jones Day has promoted six of its lawyers to partner.

Intellectual property specialists Jennifer Chheda, Jakob Guhn, Matthew Hertko, Jacqueline Lee, Sebastian Martinek, and Anna Raimer were among 47 promotions across the firm.

The lawyers work in the firm’s New York, Dusseldorf, Chicago, Silicon Valley, Boston, and Houston offices, respectively.

Chheda focuses on patent eligibility; Martinek, who also specialises in patents, has represented clients in the biotechnology industry.

Hertko works across all areas of IP and has represented clients in the automotive industry.

Guhn has experience in trademark and copyright law while Raimer focuses on both trademark clearance and cancellation proceedings.

Lee’s experience is in patent and trademark infringement issues.
