Finnegan Henderson Farabow Garrett & Dunner LLP will be relocating its Belgium office to the UK.
The move, which will see the Brussels office relocate to London’s Holborn area, comes as a result of the expansion of the firm’s European Patent Office (EPO) Practice.
The practice currently focuses on oppositions and appeals at the EPO and UK Intellectual Property Office.
“London is one of the main centres of IP practice in Europe and will provide new opportunities for continued growth,” explained the firm’s managing partner James Monroe.
According to Anthony Tridico, managing partner of the Brussels office, the new space will accommodate up to 20 attorneys, who will be making the transition to London.
Finnegan Henderson Farabow Garrett & Dunner LLP has offices around the world including Shanghai, Tokyo and Washington, DC, with more than 375 IP lawyers.
The move is expected to take place later this year.
