Hoyng Monegier appoints twentieth partner
European IP firm Hoyng Monegier has recruited an IP team for its Brussels office, the firm announced in October.
Liesbeth Weynants has joined Hoyng Monegier as partner from Benelux law firm NautaDutilh. Christel Brion and junior associate Charlotte Weyne have also made the move.
Hoyng Monegier, which launched on January 1, 2011, now has 20 partners.
Weynants is an expert in patent and regulatory matters, and focuses on the life sciences sector. Her life sciences practice includes advising research-based pharmaceutical, medical devices and biotech companies as well as industry associations and universities.
Benoît Strowel, managing partner of Hoyng Monegier’s Brussels office, said: “[Weynants’s] arrival will help build on the success of our thriving intellectual property practice and her experience will add to our strength in the Life Sciences sector.”
