Hogan Lovells promotes four IP lawyers
Law firm Hogan Lovells has promoted three IP lawyers to partner and one to counsel.
Anna Shaw, Srecko Vidmar and David Toy become partners, while Anishiya Abrol adopts the counsel role. All four lawyers are based in the US.
Shaw (bottom left), who specialises in areas including litigation and licensing, deals with trademark, copyright and domain name matters. She has worked in federal court and before the International Trade Commission and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Vidmar (bottom, middle left) focuses on patent, trademark and copyright litigation, especially in the software, hardware and Internet technologies industries. Disputes over e-commerce and medical billing software are some of those he has litigated.
A specialist on technology and IP transactions, Toy (bottom, middle right) deals with both buyers and sellers, his clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.
Abrol (bottom right) works mainly in the life sciences and technology fields. She drafts and negotiates commercial and corporate contracts, ranging from operational agreements to more complex transactions such as joint ventures.
Across the firm, Hogan Lovells now has 29 new partners and 38 people working as counsel, of counsel or consultant.
