HGF hires trademark specialist in London

Law firm HGF has hired Jonathan Thurgood as partner in the firm’s trademark group in London.

Thurgood joins from law firm Carpmaels & Ransford, where he was also a partner.

He has experience in disputes involving domain names and counterfeits.

David Potter, head of trademarks at the firm, said: “Jonathan will be a great asset to the growing trademarks team in London. He has a strong reputation for his technical expertise and responsiveness to client needs, which fits well into the HGF ethos.”
