US-based law firm Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP has appointed Eric Gaum and Arland Stein to co-chairs of its IP practice in Ohio.
Gaum (pictured below) is a patent lawyer at the firm, with a focus on the technology sector, litigating patent disputes involving smartphones and dental x-ray machines. He also works with the firm’s construction law group and has served as a domain name dispute panellist at the World Intellectual Property Organization.
Stein (pictured below) has experience working for US steel company Nucor as in-house counsel and was responsible for protecting the company’s patents. His focus is on technology and he has experience of litigating trademark and patent disputes at the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Gaum will be based at the Akron office, while Stein will work from the Columbus office.
