Greenberg hires three litigators
Greenberg Traurig LLP has added three shareholders to its IP and technology practice in Washington, DC.
Mark Davis, Stephen Shahida and Ronald Pabis all join from law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Their start date is still being determined.
Davis, who will chair the firm’s International Trade Commission practice, focuses on IP litigation and associated antitrust matters. Pabis focuses on patent trials as well as licensing and other technology-related disputes, while Shahida focuses on patent disputes.
Richard Rosenbaum, chief executive officer at Greenberg, said the hires continue “our longstanding approach of carefully selecting top individuals and groups”.
“We do not follow either of the two popular strategies of the day: traditionally elite firms holding onto high prices and consolidating, or those trying to get very big very fast by mergers. We follow our own independent path that we believe is dictated simply by listening to our clients and our talent. Everything we do is about fulfilling their needs as we perceive them, not about building an empire or reaching a higher place on some chart.”
Greenberg employs more than 180 IP and technology attorneys and agents.
