Gowling WLG expands presence in Middle East
Law firm Gowling WLG has expanded its intellectual property practice in the Middle East and Africa by hiring Jon Parker as a partner and head of IP Dubai.
Parker joins from law firm Clyde & Co, where he worked as head of trademarks.
He has experience in managing trademark portfolios in the United Arab Emirates region.
Robert MacDonald, co-head of IP for the firm, said: “Having Jon on board is a tremendous addition to the IP team. With extensive experience in handling complex and demanding cross-border matters, Jon will contribute a high level of expertise in the development and delivery of an integrated international service.”
